SUMMER CAMP LEASES

"Last year I made it my goal to find a new place to lease horses from after seeing first hand the mistreatment horses were receiving from our former contractor. Heritage Farm was recommended to me by a person in the area so we decided to give it a shot. After arriving at the farm I was happy to see each horse individually cared for and that they were being ridden by young children such as the ones that would be riding them at camp. I was extremely pleased with how helpful everybody at your farm was in the process of finding new camp horses. Although we cannot have the same horses every year it was such a comfort to have all horses arrive healthy and ready to go. Not one horse or pony was left out in becoming a favorite for some camper and the girls were sad to see them go.

I am so happy that we have established a relationship that allows us to keep in contact throughout 'non camp' season to make sure that everything is on track for the next year."

We have developed a reputation for sending safe, suitable and reliable horses and equipment to the numerous summer camps around New England which lease horses from us for the season. The selected horses will have been shod, wormed and vaccinated against Rabies before being sent to work with properly fitting tack. The season usually lasts from early July, with the horses due back to the farm the last weekend of August, unless other arrangements have been made.
